Normally there are two ways to make pattern at the surface of paint bucket, one is heat transfer printing, the other one is In Mold Labeling(IML system). IML system is more suitable for high level market because the label color is more colorful and the label won't drop off because the label and bucket is integrated.

We just shipped a complete IML paint bucket production line to Mexico last month. 

We have offered different solutions for different customers, most customers will choose hot runner, and our company also recommend make runner into hot runner because it no need cut the gate, so not have gate waste. What's more, use hot runner could reduce the cycle time, you can get more products. And if use IML system, we will make into hot runner because it will use robot to achieve automatic working during production.
